Local Yard Store Day

The Fiber Arts Studio at Enchanted Fredericksburg Ranch (EFR) is holding a one-day mega sale on Saturday, April 25, 2026, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., as part of Local Yarn Store Day. These events are held nationwide to encourage crafters to shop locally and participate in special activities. EFR is the only store in Fredericksburg participating in this event sponsored by The National Needlearts Association.

Knitters, crocheters, weavers and spinners will find great yarns and fibers at ridiculously low prices. Yarn will sell below wholesale prices starting at 50 cents per ball:

• Textured yarn (ribbon, eyelash, ladder, flag, stubby, etc.), bamboo, angora, linen, cotton, wool, acrylic, and other yarns are 50 cents, $1, $3, or $5 per ball

• Wool/Rayon blends on cones ($5/pound) - mill ends from St. John Knits clothing manufacturer

• Rayon chenille on cones ($5/pound)

• Finer yarns (hand-dyed, Berroco, Louisa Harding and other brands) at 30% off retail

• Sweater-quantities of yarn at 30% off retail

• Batts and roving for spinners at 30% off retail
