Allens Boots has been an Austin original since 1977, when Steve Greenberg opened the flagship store on South Congress beneath the now-iconic giant red boot sign. Today, Allens offers one of the largest selections of western wear in the country—thousands of pairs of boots, hats, and apparel from top makers alongside our own line of Allens Boots expertly crafted in Mexico and custom boots built in El Paso. Our Original location is in Austin on South Congress and our newest location is in the heart of the Texas Hill Country in Fredericksburg. We still do things like they did back in 1977 as a family-owned Texas landmark.
